Disney Day 2

Our second day at Disney was an improvement from the first day. Tropical Storm Debby was still causing us trouble but it wasn’t anything like the day before. The day started out wet and windy. We decided to go to Disney Animal Kingdom. Here is a picture taken at the beginning of the day. Once again because of the rain the park was pretty empty. As the day went on the rain stopped and it got pretty warm. We were also able to take some pictures with the characters because there were no lines. I was really surprised because Kaylee would run right up to the characters and hug them. I was thought she would be afraid of them.

Someone requested pictures of us on rides. This was the only ride we took a picture of. I don’t know why that was. (Neither John nor I are picture takers) This picture actually is a funny story. Throughout the day the rain stopped and only bands of rain and wind would come through. Before this picture was taken, the sun was out and there was no rain. We had taken off our rain gear. However, right as we got on the ride it started to pour! We never made that mistake again!

We were able to go on all the rides at this park simply because there were no lines. Some rides we went on several times. Here is a picture of us at the end of the day. Sorry it has taken me so long to post the rest of our vacation. Most of the pictures were on John’s phone and it wouldn’t email them to my email account. Gotta love technology!

  1. It looks like you all had a wonderful time, despite the weather. You made the best out of a bad situation. The kids didn’t seem to mind at all. I love the pictures. Take care.
