I thought I would post some of our vacation pictures. We had a great time! Thanks Barb and Gary!It was just what we needed.
The kids loved playing in the sand.
This pic was taken at Shell Island. It was great to have a protected beach area where the girls could play without being knocked over by the waves.
John’s aunt was down in FL at the same time as we were so she came and took some pictures on the beach. They turned out great.
Here is a picture of the kids. Don’t they look really tan?
One quick story. While we were at the beach we would take the kids in the ocean. John held Abby while I held Kaylee. Since we were holding them it didn’t occur to us that they would need life vests. Well during one of our swims a huge wave rolled in. John saw it coming and held up Abby. It then proceeded to hit me. I too held up Kaylee, hoping to avoid getting water on her face (she hates getting her face wet!) Well I wasn’t as strong as John and the wave knocked me off my feet. The whole time I was trying to regain my footing I was holding up Kaylee as high as I could. I kept thinking that if I let go of her I would lose her in the wave. Finally I was able to stand up and saw John coming toward me to help out. Kaylee of course had gone under the water and was very upset! After that the girls wore their life vests and Kaylee all but refused to go in the ocean.

Looks like your vacation agreed with you! Today has been a tough day for me. I had a teacher friend murdered by a student of hers. It made me really stop and think about what I do, who I affect and how I use my time. I appreciate your posts because it seems you are doing that too! God has truely blessed you with more years of life and you are truly enjoying them with your family. Keep living each day to the fullest and for God’s glory and I will do the same!

Isn’t God Great. You guys all looked so happy and healthy. We are so glad you could get away and have some fun. I suppose your young man is about ready to re enter school. Oh the good old days. LOL. Take care and remember: Someone in Pewee Valley is praying for you.
